RENSSELAER CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT MASTER PLAN ADDITIONS AND RENOVATION TO THE RENSSELAER JUNIOR/SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Angerame Architects, P.C. was chosen by The Rensselaer City School District to develop a Master Plan for the Rensselaer Junior/Senior High School, which includes additions and renovations to the main facility.

The existing school is a partial two-story structure constructed in 1970. The new additions will include, classrooms, science labs, clinic, lobby, reception area and offices. Renovation work will consist of conversion of an electric heating plant to fossil fuel, in addition to updating the thermal skin of the building, new kitchen, fire protection and electrical systems.

In addition, the outdoor athletic complex will be reconfigured to include a new football/soccer field, track and associated events, baseball field and tennis courts.
